Blockscape Allocates a Portion of Treasury into Real Yield USD
Blockscape, a well-known validator, and member of the Cosmos and Ethereum community has announced that it has invested a portion of its treasury into the Real Yield USD strategy on Sommelier Finance.
About Sommelier
Sommelier is an asset management protocol built on the Cosmos SDK that enables dynamic, intelligent DeFi vaults on Ethereum. The vaults can do portfolio optimization, trade long-short, borrow-lend, or even farm. is an automated DeFi strategy maximizing USDC, USDT, and DAI yields across Aave, Compound, and Uniswap V3 protocols by utilizing Sommeliers architecture.
The strategy has seen rapid growth in the past month and a half, with total asset value crossing $15M in recent days. The strategy has attracted a wide range of interest from small depositors to institutional investors.
Reasons for Our Allocation to Real Yield USD
The allocation was based on the impressive performance of the strategy, which we view as a strong hedge against inflation, as well as the thorough audits and backtesting it underwent before going live. The incentives from the Sommelier community pool also made the decision even more compelling.
For Blockscape, investing in Real Yield USD is also a matter of alignment with Sommelier. As a member of the community and a validator of Block 1 with a strong interest in the platform’s success, our deposit further cements our alignment with their ecosystem. The deposit also directly supports us and other validators of the Sommelier because of their unique approach of routing a portion of strategy fees to stakers. In other words, we will be effectively accessing Real Yield USD with reduced fees because we validate on Sommelier.
